ah shucks, it's only the pre-season.
On a more arcane note -- just realized that we got our #13 after all. Perhaps someone mentioned it when Mike Boone informed us about the number selections a while back and noted that the #13 is the first Habs wearer since Billy Boucher in the 20s -- but I haven't seen anyone comment about the OTHER #13 wearer who has been so close to our hearts? The only difference is that our guy in the #13 jersey is from the Czech Republic, not Sweden... I wonder if Bob included that in his 'Plan B'?
isn't Tanguay wearing 13? Lang is 20.

a brain cramp on my part. Actually, I'm even happier that we have a good Canadian boy stepping up to fill the '#13' skates.
Could someone tell me what the lineups were? I know its around here somewhere, I just can't find it...
Also, for those who got to watch it, any observations? I was at work during the game, so I missed the whole thing.

Got the Habs game on CJAD and for laughs, watching the Leafs pre game on Sportsnet Ontario...The 3 stooges from Sportsnet have Leaf coach Ron Wilson sitting in with them....He looks as comfortable as a boy scout at the Neverland Ranch..

i like chipper and hope he makes the team...but i'm not big on his chances.
as a potential future captain that doesn't come to camp ready to stake a claim on a spot...fairly disappointing...even more disappointing is having to watch dandy do nothing unless he was benched for another year.

I'll try the free game tomorrow...Ifit is as efficient as the Habs ticket sale system, I'll likely just see if I can get the full channel through Rogers up here.
i'd let you know if it was a good move, if i were able to get the damn service, but I can't since i'm stuck in the US. which brings me to the question: what's the best way to watch habs games here? i don't really enjoy center ice, but if its the only way, i'll do it again

Mike , your absolutely right about the stupidity of playing this tight schedule of preseason games. Teams are just asking for injury trouble.
It makes no cents at all! O wait a Minuit, cents, dollars, now I get it. We have to pay these guys their huge bucks, and the paying customer needs to be milked some more.
