The Gazette folks aren't the only ones taking notice; he's becoming a regular on TSN as well. Kostopolous pants'd him during the last one.
I'm glad to see all the skeptics and doubters being proven wrong. I got to see Gorges while he was in the WHL with Kelowna, so when we picked him up I was really happy to see somebody from my hometown junior team make it with my favourite team. That first shift he had, where he was -2, obviously left a very bad impression in a lot of people's minds ("we traded Rivet for this?") but he's constantly worked hard and been a consistent player on the ice, and now people are starting to take notice. I'd vote for him for the Jacques Beauchamps Trophy.
See you April 5th at the Bell Centre!
