With a little over one minute left in the game 2 days ago Richards went out of his way to punch Halack in the face,... I dont think I have ever saw a more flagrant infraction than this one was.... but it wasn't called.
The call on Begin tonight was o.k. according to the book but not according to the allowed permissivity thus far in that match..... considering the time left in the game it was a bad call.
The call was bad but Begin should never have push it to the limit in the first place,... his decision to hit Kopanen in the neutral zone was way worse than the refs decision to call him for an infraction for it.
