Want to beat Biron? Get your noses dirty and get to the net! Saku seems to be the only one willing to pay the price and he has come up with two big goals that way. Biron is going to stop how ever many shots he sees from the point. If no one is there to pick up the rebounds and garbage around the net he will not be beat often.
I love this team and am very happy with this exciting season, and it is not over yet. But it would seem that for this team to be playoff effective, it will need some extra grit. Perhaps the current roster will look within themselves and find it. They can beat the Flyers skill-wise. They proved it 4 times during the regular season (wins) and during this playoff (dominated play but only 1 win and 3 losses). The only thing missing is that playoff edge. I hope they find it this week. If not, then Gainey will have to get it for them in the off-season.
