It is sad to hang up the jersey for the last time. In four months it will all be forgotten. The joie-de-vivre of the 100th season will be something to look forward to. It's been said before that you have to lose in order to learn how to win. You have to suffer the agony of defeat in order to avoid it at all costs. This is a young team aside from the veterans and it's been an incredible learning curve this year. Just to finish first overall was an achievement in itself. We had our moments in the playoffs (game 1 and 7 against Boston) and last night when we went up 3-1, I really thought we had it in the bag. There are no bags in the playoffs and the team that wants it more usually takes it as was the case last night. I hope we learn from this experience and come back stronger in our 100th year. Can't wait!
