Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price is comforted by Mike Komisarek as the Canadiens loose 6-4 to the Philadelphia Flyers during second round, Game 5 NHL playoff action in Montreal Saturday May 3/08. Price allowed 6 goals on 37 shots. (GAZETTE PHOTO/Allen McInnis)
I love this pic, not only because both of my fave players are on it, but it shows the connection between the players and that the habs aren't just "another phenomenon" or "just another team", but they're so much more than just that.
THE PRICE IS RIGHT, always was, always will be.
Price, u're still the man no matter what! the city has adopted this guy, and this is no news for anyone: the 25th is right on the corner with a guy like Price!
OUR PRICE IS RIGHT!
Mark my words. Price will win the Conn Smyth in the near future and Komisarek will be playing in front of him when that happens.
You only have a burning desire to win when you experience and learn how much you hate to lose.
What a great pic!
Indeed. So sad.
The caption says "Price allowed 6 goals on 37 shots." Not to nitpick, but isn't it a bit unfair to say he allowed the empty net goal? There was nothing he could have done to prevent it going in since he was sitting on the bench. Still, I guess when you're having a bad night, you can expect that the media and the fans will make it an even worse one.
didn't Carbo already blame him for the empty-netter, anyway? ;)
(wtf was that 'better goaltending' comment about AGAIN last night?? the kid was just completely destroyed and you're out for the summer, for f's sake! give the guy a break, Carbs. this guy kills me.)
ps. LOVE the pic. love it.
thanks, Komi, for sticking up for your guy!
Love.
