4 legends = 26 Stanley Cups - numbers sometimes speak louder than words.

TC - I really don't know what to say - this is reprehensible. Another step in the long and slow decline of Glen Sather as a hockey executive. Shameful.

Roy MacGregor On : The Offensively Minded Canadiens - The Flying Canadiens (an excerpt) ..... Surely, there is something wrong with this picture.
The Montreal Canadiens are at practice. The drill is like something you would see in atom house league: 5-on-5 at each end of the ice, a goaltender in each net, the players desperate to be first to score and encouraged to try any offensive move they can imagine, no matter how risky.
And standing at centre ice, laughing, is head coach Guy Carbonneau, the three-time winner of the NHL's Frank J. Selke Trophy as the best defensive player in the game. Watching play in the other end and smiling is assistant coach Doug Jarvis, also a Selke winner. And both men were hired by general manager Bob Gainey, the defensive specialist for whom the Selke Trophy was created and who once won it four consecutive years .............. and here is the rest of the story ..... http://www.globesports.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20081107.wspt-macgregor-h...

Even in Hogtown the people know which team is the most special of all the NHL clubs. Great to see the fan response and 4 Hall of Famers garner even more acclaim for the CH.

I've had the opportunity to meet all 4 these former Habs greats and they are indeed Rock Stars to me as far as I'm concerned wherever they go.
Love the audio supplied by Dave Stubbs, thank you!
Very entertaining to listen to this morning.
Great to hear stories from them, and I would love to see more former Habs audio on this site and the stories they want to share with us!
Looking forward to going to the game at the ACC tonight after a dismal effort against Columbus last night. 100% effort tonight by everyone boys, we pay big bucks to watch entertaining hockey!
Dave Stubbs, have a great weekend in Toronto and being honoured by your peers in the media with your award! Congratulations again!

Why are there no comments? Is this site down? This was the most enjoyable audio I've ever had the pleasure to listen to and I can't believe that there hasn't been more responses to.
Thanks guys and keep up the good work. BTW. Rocket 9 Pocket Rocket 16
Go! Habs Go!

That was excellent!
But Larry doesn't know that the Rocket was #9 and the Pocket Rocket was #16? Must have been lots of pressure on him. LOL
