Game 17 (audio): Price brilliant but Habs fall

Centreman Robert Lang, with his sixth of the year, had put the Canadiens in front at 1:07 of the second period. That goal snapped the Habs' 0-for-20 drought on the power play.
But this game belonged to a ridiculously busy Price, who faced 48 shots and was brilliant on more than one occasion. By period, Price saw 18, 10 and 20 shots.
At the other end of the rink, Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward was facing 29 pucks from the Canadiens.
Montreal wraps up a three-game road trip Thursday in Ottawa before returning home for Saturday's contest against the Boston Bruins, to be preceded by the sweater retirement of Hall of Fame goaltender Patrick Roy.
Hurricanes' Brandon Sutter slides into Canadiens goalie Carey Price, who makes the save. A moment later, Sutter skated back up ice after having crosschecked a prone Price in the back, without a reply coming from the netminder's teammates.
