The Canadiens will try to regroup from Tuesday's dismal 2-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes when they take on the Ottawa Senators in Kanata, Ont., on Thursday.

Some audio as the teams prepare for that one, sent along by Pat Hickey:

• Ottawa's rugged Chris Neil on the knee surgery he'll have Friday for a torn miniscus;
• Ottawa's Chris Phillips on the Senators' dealing with the loss of Neil and Mike Fisher to knee injuries;
• Canadiens' Alex Tanguay on his line's problems;
• Habs head coach Guy Carbonneau.

Once was a problem quite dire. Our team was stuck in the mire. We exhibit frills But not many skills. Who do you think Bob'll hire? Whoa, whoa, whoa! I meant "player", not "coach". After seeing him be up for coach of the year, I'm gonna wait a bit longer than 15 games before jumpin' on him. Or were you being facetious as well? Now I hear 110% starting off by saying Gainey's in L.A., talkin' to Mats. Ooooh boy, don't make a maniac outta me, Bob! I'm bashing Carbo bashers.

Not anymore. Keenan went medieval on the boys after the loss on the west coast, cancelled their day off. The Flames came out flying against Colorado who had won three in a row. It was no contest. I only wish the Habs would respond the same way after an embarrassing loss. That is what is missing on this years club, a sense of pride.

Although Kovalev has mind blowing skills,his desire is often questioned...From the sounds of some of his quotes on here I think he thinks he's a player coach.. I HURT .I HURT. I HURT, A BEE FLEW UP MY SKIRT.. 100TH SEASON, WHAT'S THE REASON YOU'VE BEEN CHOSEN TO PUT ON THIS SHIRT?

Big game this Thursday. A loss here would probably destroy what little confidence the team has now. We need more than the 4th line to play with energy passion. Sergei's on thing ice lately, and I can see him being the first player not on the 4th line to see Press Box action. I still think D'Agonstini should be the first to be called up, because I believe he's probably more mature than Patches and will succeed up here. Koivu's line is close to doing huge things I think. The weak link in that line is definitely Kovalev. But I think that a line with that much talent will succeed. Our team has the talent, we just need to click and start playing with some passion. ---------------------------- In Saku we trust.
