My deepest sympathies Mr Boone, I lost my grandfather this week also at the age of 92. In these times it is best to celebrate the remarkable life that she has had, if we should only be so lucky to be able to love and watch our children flourish so late in life. All the best to you and your family, and I will include her in my prayers.

Mike, it goes without saying that everyone is sorry for your loss.
In the small snippets of anecdotes you gave us in both your work here and in your column in the Gazette we all got to learn a little bit more about your mom. However, we probably learned more about her just by observing the product of all her hard labor: you.
I am sure she was and is still very proud of her (in)famous son both in life and now that she is at peace.

So sorry to hear about this, Mike. A mother is someone that can never ever be replaced in this world. My mom has been out of town for only a week and my room is a mess and I've been surviving on frozen dinners. It just goes to show how much we take them for granted and how we only realize how important they are when they're gone.

Mike I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to U & your Family.
I've been there. It is really hard. My Dad passed away with a massive Heart Attack in Feb. 1998. I hope you had the chance to tell her that you loved her. I never got that chance.
