Things started well for the Canadiens in this one, but as has been the case far too often lately, Montreal was unable to play 60 full minutes and was burned by the Calgary Flames 6-2 Monday night in Calgary.

It's the third straight loss for the Canadiens and there are troubling signs coming from every angle. Not even Jaroslav Halak could stop the bleeding, but he was left pretty much to fend for himself for most of the night.

Matt D'Agostini opened the scoring for the Canadiens midway through the first period with a one-time shot that eluded Miika Kiprusoff. But that lead didn't last long as Mike Cammalleri beat Halak with a backhand shot.

The Canadiens regained the lead before the end of the second when Alex Kovalev fed Tomas Plekanec while on a two-on-one and Plekanec slid the puck into a wide open net.

But when the second period started, the wheels fell off for the Canadiens. The Flames scored three goals, including two shorthanded, while outshooting the Canadiens 20-4.

For a while, it looked as through Halak would withstand the onslaught by the Flames, but then the floodgates opened.

Matthew Lombardi, Dion Phaneuf and Dustin Boyd beat Halak as the Flames grabbed a 4-2 lead after 40 minutes. Lombardi and Phaneuf's goals came 32 seconds apart.

After that, it was pretty much game over as the Canadiens were simply no match for the Flames, who snapped a four-game losing streak in the process.

In the third period, Rene Bourque and David Moss, on the power play, added insult to injury as they increased the Calgary lead to 6-2.

In the end, Halak faced 41 shots, while the Canadiens could muster only 24 on Kiprusoff.

The Canadiens were 0-for-4 on the power play against the Flames, who were 1-for-5.

Montreal now heads north to play the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night.

Good game on tonight. Possibly one of stanley cup final preview. San Jose 3-2 over Boston

Did Komo just say ''I know we're a fragile team'' ?

Makes me sick to watch this team game in and game out. Gainey, its time to step up and be a real leader here. Being quiet and holding your cards close to your chest is not cutting it. This team has gone no where with you. Stand up and take it like a man. make a move that may jeopordize your career!!! take a chance!! It seems to me, as a fan, that the team is not playing for Carbo. Looks like Kovaloser is running the show with the russians on the team. Get rid of him. Oh and with keeping up a tradition, trade the captain, he has been around way to long for all of our liking.

cynic's picture
Don't be so hard on the Habs; all the Canadian based teams are pretty dismal. It has been 16 years since we have seen a cup hoisted this side of the border and there is very little indication we will see that again any time soon...

We chose AK over Getzlaf, man that pick hurt...

Bryan's picture
The more I think about it, the more I realize that Gainey's performance over the last few years is overrated. The team hasn't drafted any superstars since he's been here (unless you count Price). All of our top picks have either yet to peek (Kostitsyn *fingers crossed*) or have plateaued as everyday, 2nd/3rd line players (ie. Higgins). Our team has great depth, sure, but rolling a good 2nd line with a couple of 3rd lines isn't going to get us anywhere. Almost every other team in the league has a "star" player on their roster who is consistently the best player on the team. Who do we have? Kovalev? Last year he was our guy, but he's shown this year he can't be relied on to carry this team. Markov? Unarguably the best Canadiens player this year, which is great, but a defenceman shouldn't be our leading scorer. It's just really frustrating when you look at teams like Washington (Semin, Backstrom, Green, some guy named Ovechkin) and Philly (Richards, Carter) who were able to draft superstars with their 1st round picks when they were rebuilding, while we rely on our depth in Hamilton to churn our good, but not great players. The best forward prospect we have right now is MaxPac, and while he will be good, he's nothing compared to the other 1st round players some teams have around the league. That Vinny trade is becoming more and more attractive to me every day... _______________________________ In Saku we trust.

I want to call you out on the Kovalev comment you made "Kovalev? Last year he was our guy, but he's shown this year he can't be relied on to carry this team"... you are just like every other Kovy band wagon jumper.. and it makes me sick... You guys love him one year and hate him another.. It's either or and not both... You say he can't carry the team.. what do all of you want him to do?? stick handle through 5 guys and score all on his own, give me a break.. It's impossible, there are 4 other guys on the ice while he's out there and all of them need to perform together. If you haven't noticed Kovy's had alot of bad luck this year... last year every shot he took found it's way in the net.. Now last season excluding playoffs we had Pleks driving to the net, fighting it out in the corners to get the puck, getting his nose dirty to score goals and all of a sudden he lost his balls... AK46 is doing ok, he goes through a strech where he scores a few goals then falls asleep. Kovy is a play maker and a passer which is why Carbo put him at the point to set-up Markov (That give away last night was NOT kovy's fault" he needs players to play with and when he doesn't that's when he tries to do too much on his own... On a side note this thing about him not playing hard because the "C" was taken from him is B/S... It has nothing to do with the "C" he was never the teams regular captain just a replacement for when Koivu goes down. Last year when Koivu went down Carbo gave him the "C" and no one questioned it. This year Carbo gives him the "C" again and everyone's is on Kovy's case making comments such as "He doesn't deserve it" "Carbo should have given three "A" instead of a "C"... it's absolutely ridiculous. It's a 23 man roster... which is exactly what Kovy preached in his interview, they need to come together and play as a team... Simple as that. Stick together, live together, die together...

24 Cups's picture
Bryan - In fairness, Ovechkin and Backstrom went 1st and 4th in the draft, a position that we never have been in. But you are right about some of the other picks. Gainey has been here for five years and has never been able to address our greatest need. The drafting of AK46 over four other viable centres may eventually turn out to be his undoing. Going For The Brass Ring - 25 Cups In 100 Years

Bryan's picture
Yeah, you're right. We've been consistently mediocre for too long, which prevents us from getting a really good pick. Our best pick in the last 10 years has been 5th, which we got Carey Price with. It's unfortunate because aside from the top picks, that was a really weak draft year. _______________________________ In Saku we trust.

So how'd we do? Did we kick their butts like I predicted? Lemme open the paper... ... Oooooooh...that's why I never predict anything, right. Urg, well...lookit the bright side: all parta the plan, slowly biding our time, lulling opponents into a false sense of security, gotta be. Hey, a 32minute closed door team only meeting, hmm...spells disaster for our next adversaries, I knows it. Watch out, Oilers! Watch out! Yer gettin turned into DIESEL, you punks! All parta the plan, I says. Oilers, I meant to say last night btw; got confused on the Albertan schedule. My bad; meant to say "Oilers". Yeah. Huh, that'll do it... Being outshot 2 to 1 in the game tells me that they can,t get the puck out of their own end which means they,re weak on the boards. If you can,t get the puck out why are they playing that stupid trap? They just let the flames free wheel out and dump the puck into our end.Whatever happened to the forecheck to disrupt play in the neutral zone and try and cause turnovers. They were all lined up on the other side of the red line and chasing the flames into their own zone. It,s a baffling system. If we,re supposed to be a skating team then we need to be a team that pressures the other teams all over the ice. We,re not winning the battle for the puck.I can accept losses if the effort is there but this is disgraceful.

Turns out the 100th anniversary is nothing more than a huge marketing scoop, lifted to (hockey-wise) previously unknown heights in the business by masses of sold vintage jerseys and the constructed myth of a religion named "Canadiens", which right now nobody is buying into except the fans. We care about the team, and everybody on the team seems to just shrug their shoulders, either out of, hopefully timely limited, incompetence or out of lacking interest.

Change in goal, the same result.....another no show!

Freedom is the right to BE wrong, not the right to DO wrong! Around 8 changes have to be made on this team either by the players changing the way they play, or if they can’t then getting rid of them. The latter may be difficult to do with contracts and salary caps being what they are. I think we have a number of players in the system that could infuse some enthusiasm. But, how can we bring them up? The logistics just won’t allow for it. As for trades, who would want any of our players? I don’t think trading our prospects is the answer either. As one can see from the postings, fans (including me) are pretty upset with the team. I’m not sure I agree with the idea that many of the players don’t give a hoot. I just don’t think we have enough toughness. We know we have to win the battles along the boards and in front of the net, but knowing it and doing it are two different things. Some of our smaller players work very hard, but they just can’t handle the bigger players. Even some of our bigger players are just not tough enough. We’re coming close to hitting rock bottom. It will be interesting to see what happens when and if we do. The next few weeks will certainly tell the tale. David did pretty well against Goliath. I wonder if we have any Davids on the team?

habsperspective's picture
Good news, half the team isnt signed for next year, however they just might not get any return value in the market. Maybe we should be sellers in 3 weeks!

Time to sit Gorges and O'Byrne, they sucked all night long. Bouillon is the only one who showed heart tonight on defense. Bring back Breezer and Dandy, at least they care! Send Lil Tits to Hamilton, he keeps making bad decisions with the puck, bring Gregory Stewart up. At least he showed some grit when he was recalled. I'm not a racist, but I agree to Don Cherry about Europeans (except Swedes) that they are soft and heartless! Trade them all!! Koivu, Kovalev, Plekanec, both Tits and Markov!

I always chuckle when I hear people say "I am not a racist, BUT…" Just makes the entire first clause oblivious.

Gorges is the only one who came out of that game a +, with a +2. And he played over 20 minutes. Couldn't have sucked that badly.

+/- are not always reprensatative, Hamrlik was -1 on Lil Tits turnover, yet he was coming off the bench!!

Somebody should send Gainey images of thousands of absolutely heartbroken fans in Calgary. RDS caught a glimpse of them and these people looked simply disenchanted... cheated. I know players don't give a crap but perhaps Habs management still does. Ah, who am I kidding... they couldn't give rats ass either.

Anyone that's watched these clowns wandering around out there, without a care in the world and no effort whatsoever knows that. Nobody can try to claim a team with that much talent can be that bad while caring and working their butts off. How does the fastest team in the league get skated off the ice by the Leafs the other night and the Flames last night if they care?

i agree timo what a disgrace! we are actually at this point and time worse than the make me laffs!now that's bad!i wish we had brian burke as our g.m.!he'd gut this team of those gutless europeans and make this a very tough northamerican team with passion!

guys,i haven't posted on here as much as last year, but i'm going to start posting more. i watched the game tonight again,as i watch every game and i can honestly say in my 38 years of watching this team this is the worst i've seen!we've got a passsive g.m.that this team has given to much power, because he sits on his ass and twiddles his thumbs and does nothing, does not have to answer to anyone!big mistake right there.please mr. gillet if you read the posts on this site from each and everyone of us very embarassed, and disgraced, and heart broken , habs fans tell BOB GAINEY to make a deal or he's fired plain and simple don't let him sit on his ass and do nothing, there are players out there to trade for and we have the assests to get it done!i.e. chris pronger ,jay bouwmeester etc... etc..if bob gainey can't do the job mr.gillet and he's showing us he can't especially with this being the 100th season and the most important year of our proud franchise then fire bob gainey and hire pierre lacroix he'd make changes to this team and isn't passive and isn't scared to pull the tigger on a deal. these players and bob gainey also should be very embarassed and ashamed of themselves to what they are doing to this jersey and logo! i bet the rocket is turning over in his grave right now seeing what is happening to his team! gainey please make a deal or step down as g.m. your an embarassment to this organization do your job and make a deal for the love of god come on bob!

Im so sad....what happend to our team? we are falling fast, i dont know what they should do, should we make a trade? for who? and will that player fix our team? NO, should we mail in the season and try and get the number one pick? thats what it looks like right now...should we trade all of our UFA's for picks and prospects? maybe, just not the Captain. Should we sit on our hands and just play the wait and see game? Yup thats what Gainey will do....haha. So lets wait and see if these guys can pull something out of their asses.

GP HABS FAN's picture
History tells us that Gainey will play the waiting game but i hope thats not the case most of our team is just plain lazy(mostly the russians)Koivu is still playing his heart out for this team and the goalies get zero help from the defence. Its sad to see this it really is. Where are the habs of the 70's. Where is the grit, where is the drive to win, where is the passion, and most of all where is the Pride. This team doesn't have what it takes they need to make some deals, keep koivu, price,Gorges, and most of the young north american talent(im not trying to knock the euro's but they just dont show up)trade who ever else and lets see if we can find some guys who will show up and fight for the crest on the front of the jersey but more importantly fight for there teammates. When I think about how Gorges got hit and how nobody stepped up in his defence that just leaves me speechless.

Habs_008's picture
i stopped watching, i didnt see what happend to Gorges, all I know is that he playes his heart out.

Just got home from the game. It is getting so stupid it's almost funny. Two shorthanded for the flames. The Flames really didn't play that well. I give Carbo the game in Edmonton, if they lose there Gainey needs to fire him. Julien was tossed for a lot less. I was proud of the Hab fans, we taught the Flames fans a few songs. ------------------------------------------- "We have them just where we want'em."

Ron, man... Sorry you had to see that. I hope it didn't look as bad live as it did on TV. At least you didn't have the benefit of replay of one horrendous play over another.

Gr8stFranchizEvr's picture
i, too, think they'll beat the Oilers - somehow. but, that's it. i'm expecting a handful of L's over the next week or so. what has become of this team? no easy answers.

Nahlsy's picture
I can honestly say I preferred it when we weren't very talented but, busted our butts every night to just miss the playoffs because at least when we lost, we lost honestly and with our best effort. Knowing we have the talent but, just can't be bothered to use it so we just give the game to the other team if they decide to show up since winning would only potentially shorten our summer vacation time anyway.... that just urinates on everything this organization used to stand for and the reason I identified myself with this team in the first place. This display over the past few weeks of not bothering to show up at all for 2 weeks now, and allowing guys like Gorges to get BLASTED for example and nobody does a damned thing about it????? I mean they didn't even give anyone a dirty look or call him names or anything????? These aren't the Habs. I can't cheer for a group of losers that don't care about this team. If these guys don't want to be here, get rid of them and call up some kids from Hamilton. I'd rather lose lose 10-0 on an honest effort than watch these losers just not give a damn.

Nahlsy's picture
The title of this thread should be embarrassed by themselves. The Flames routed them but, they should all be ashamed of themselves and be forced to wear those ridiculous things they had on last Sunday since there aren't many of them that deserve to wear the jerseys that they're disrespecting with this lack of effort on a routine basis. At least now the ridiculous notion of blaming Price for all of this can be put to rest.

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
We can beat ourselves quite well without the other team having to put forth the effort.

Mr.Bell's picture
So how about that New Taylor Made R9 should do well with it this year, man i cant wait to start golfing!

Cape Breton's picture
A very easy team to play against. Just go on the aggressive and Les Boys will cave in. Pretty simple game plan and the entire NHL knows it. Sad, Sad, Sad.

Nahlsy's picture
And Shanahan just sat out there for 4 months with no takers. Wow, too bad our GM was still sucking up to Sundin instead of trying to fix that hole huh?

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
Gainey did try for Shanahan and he said no again...tried last year too..Shanahan does'nt want to be a HAB and anyone that does'nt want to be here ...we don't want here...Hope he gets concussed before the seasons out!

i'm pretty sure shanny was dead set on either the rags or the devils, but it'd sure be nice to have him here...

I tuned into the radio for a couple minutes and in that time it went from 2-1 to 3-2. Then I stopped listening and I guess it was the right decision. I was complaining about this team when they were still winning some, but now I don't know what to say. I don't think a coaching change will fix this. Gainey needs to do something. ----- Their defenses are broken! Let the slaughter begin!

vaya_'s picture
i stopped watching at 4-2, and it's a rarity. i stuck around for the 0-5 comeback, stuck around even against the leafs on saturday. but it's gotten harder and harder to watch...

JIMVINNY's picture
To be perfectly honest, I'm heartbroken. I'd never seen them play live, and for this disappointment of a hockey game to be my first experience, having been a fan for as long as I can remember, I'm crushed. It's tough to take, watching your idols get pounded while you're surrounded by the opposing teams boorish fans. I'm not usually this negative, but it was horrible. I don't know how I'm going to go to work tomorrow.

Da Hema's picture
I am beginning to feel like a Leaf fan--living in the past. But then that is the only place one can find hope for this once-proud franchise. The majority of the players on this team have quit. Earlier this year, it was three players, but now the cancer has spread throughout the entire team. It seems to me Gainey has three options now, and he will have to choose one. The first is to trade the malcontent players on this team. The second is to revamp the coaching staff. The third is to trade the malcontent players and bring in a new coach or coaches. This is not a slump we are in folks. This is a deep, serious problem with the coaches and players. "If mankind minus one were of one opinion, then mankind is no more justified in silencing the one than the one--if he had the power--would be justified in silencing mankind." --J.S. shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
You know...when I played hockey as a younster my coach told me if I was the last man back to NEVER try and stickhandle out of my zone,I was to dump the puck out or use the boards to get the puck out.I never ever forgot that. I guess Sergie Kostitsyn was never told this by what he did in the second period which cost us the game. We were going along quite well thankyou, just killed off a long 5 on 3 and then we get a PP. We have the momentum folks and we have a chance to go up 3-1 on the power play and what happens.....Kostisyn makes a peewee mistake and the game is tied 2-2. That goal deflated us completely and to top it off we get another PP and Kovalev makes a dumbass pass with two defenders between him and Markov and its game over folks. On the 5th Calgary goal Plekanec has a chance to rub the guy out along the boards and tries to stick check him instead, costing us another one. Three Euro's folks making minor hockey mistakes. It is disgusting and those three should hang their heads in shame...totally unacceptable,pathetic...man I am pissed!!

BoomBoomMax's picture
I'll tell you this much about what you wrote... 1) On the turnover by S. Kostitsyn, why the F&?%&?$K was Markov going to the bench for? He was the only real Dman on the ice with SK as the other point man! Stay on the ice until we get a chance to dump it in!!! Markov is as much to blame on that play. Also, Hammer made sure no pass could get across by diving in, so in my book, all 41 had to do, was to stick with Lombardi. I think he could of easily made that save. 2) 3-2. I'm pretty sure that Phaneuf's shot deflected off Hammer, bad break! 3) On that second PK goal... You mentioned something about "Dumb Ass Kovalev" or something, but let me tell you... He did the right play and Markov blew it by trying something fancy: A one-timer pass! Boyd didn't miss his chance! 4) Kipprusof out-played Halak! Out of those 41 shots, most were pretty weak scoring chances. On the other side Mikka rubbed us quite a few times! That's all she wrote!

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
Sorry pal ..the proper play there was up the boards not a cross ice pass under pressure.... thats all she wrote!

BoomBoomMax's picture
Whatever Dude! Markov is to blame on the SH goals... I love the guy but he fucked up!

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
Whatever dude? Think it is way passed your bedtime little fella...don't forget you soother!

BoomBoomMax's picture
So you're not only a Kovalev hater, you also cast your hate on other fans! You should be ashamed... I bet you own his jersey and have heard my songs on the radio! So long!

Seriously.Kovalev puts a pass on Markov's stick, with nobody between them, and Markov tries to one time a pass in the zone. That's how the play happened.

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
Lets just say it should not have happened in the first place and call it a night...the bottom line is that sequence cost us a goal...

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
He should not have tried that pass in that situation....period !

BoomBoomMax's picture
Kovalev or Markov? I say Markov should of played safe! Kovy is not to blame!

linp's picture
We don't have a plan/system to execute the PP. The players do not know their role. We had the #1 PP for the last two years. This year's PP is painful to watch. This is not the mistake of just one player. The blame has to go to Bob first then Carbo and then the players. We don't have a PP Quarter Back. We don't have a system, plain and simple.

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
Well ...correct me if I am wrong but I did'nt Carbo or Gainey on the ice tonight making stupid peewee passes to the opposition!! Quarterback... for the love of God ....just make a simple bloody pass that does'nt cost the Goddamn hockey game...F@#K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These men are supposed to be proffesional hockey players!!

linp's picture
For me, hockey is a team game. That's why we need the right people first (Bob) and then practice a system for puck support (Carbo). When a team loses, the management gets fired.

shuttle-lemaire-lafleur's picture
So your saying they don't practice puck support....give me a break! This game is played between your ears.So fire the management and keep thick skulls who can't think hockey....oh boy!

Koivu, Maxpac and Dags played well...

And Higgy, Laraques...to some extent Kosto. The 5th goal where three different had the puck and we tried to stick check each of them was my boiling point.....I would trade our "depth" for a big star immediately and shorten the bench.....play a fourth line like it's emant to be played. We can dress a 2.5 million dollar fourth line every year and spend where necessary.

If Higgins had any ability to finish he would be a pretty complete player. Unfotunately, I don't think he is much more than a 3rd liner. He shoud be out there with Maxime and Guillaume when he comes back. Try the rookies with Koivu, put Tanguay (upon return) with Pleks and Kovy and let the Softytsyns watch from the top. And let Breezer teach some defense basics to that squad. Seriously, Breezer would have been our best d-man by a mile in the last few games.

Send the Kostitsyns to the Minors, I say, and let Dandineault and Brisebois play. The K bros are still on vacation, so send 'em there. And its all nice to fire the coach, nice easy solution, lord knows MTL loves to do that, but think -- who are you gonna get? Who can do better? The players aren't thinking, they aren't skating, they aren't anticipating. Every time the go for the puck its with one hand on their stick. No coach can fix that. When was the last time a last-minute coaching change won the team a cup? A player has to step up and show the team how to win. Cliche? You bet. But someone has to be on the ice to show these dudes how to play again.

Just got home from the game. Wow. Carbo needs to start telling the guys to take a roughing penalty everytime we get a powerplay. That, and here comes the doom and gloom. It's time to trade everyone over the age of 26, and wipe the slate. this team cannot win in its present form, and it pains me to say it, but i would rather endure 2 years of losing with a solid effort every night, than winning the odd game with the crap that's on the ice right now. It's not fair to us fans to have to watch this game in, game out. I may be drunk, but goshdarn it, that's how I feel.

Something has to change...BTW..The Al's may choke in the big game...but Montreal's "other" team COMPETE"S !!!! Man..I am embarassed.

Same line up for the past three games minus the tender. Carbo has no respect for Mathieu Dandenault and very little ability as a coach. The mark of a coach is what they do when things go bad. This coach does nothing.

I can't believe i am saying this but get Briesebois in-Markov and Bouillon are players I really admire but they need to go see the tape. See how many turn-overs happened because of them _______________________________________________________________________ "We in a fight to the finish, so I say why not fight till you finished" _______________________________________________________________________

In my 34 years of following the Habs, this is the most embarrassing I've ever felt. Those guys should do us all a favor and just disappear from the face of the earth. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU.

No ,the last game vs the Laff's,THAT WAS THE WORST,lol

i think the hit on gorges and noone doing anything about it was a bad, bad sign.....similar thing happened earlier in the year with andrei k ......this team is not sticking up for one another....correct me if i'm wrong but that is what being a team is supposed to be. we need a major move asap we need to take about 3 players with no urgency out and insert three that show up game in and game out, stick up for their teammates and push bak when pushed. I thought the team toughness was there last year but something i wrong this year...very wrong...there is some sort of dissension in that room and I can't help wonder if this team is clicky.....there is no excuse for not standing up for one another...none....I am fed up with the indifference and the fragility of our mental makeup....I say the palyers get quotas before the game and if they don't meet them they don't play.....Higgy (hit an open net and throw a punch), Lang (see Higgy re open net and get well soon), Lapierre (piss someone off and remember your role), Pleks (get on the scoresheet....anyway possible...penalty?), Komi (drop the gloves every 8 or 10 games or stop pretending to be tough...noones buying it anymore), Kovy(3 body checks and one Tucker special...maybe then you'll care), Hamrlik (jump in the rush3-5 times per night...you are the second best we have at it), BGL (intimidate someone...you don't have to fight every night but embarass guys......I think poor Gorges being told by Bertuzzi tonight "what are you going to do about it?" was one of the most disgusting things I have seen this year seeing as though poor Gorges knows noone's got his back. Carbo (decide to roll the same lines for 2 weeks and for the love of God roll 3 lines when we get down...immediately...every team shortens the becnh...well....almost). Kosto (look in the mirror and be proud...you are a warrior....a warrior with little talent but damn you have heart and you have forever earned my respect......same goes for you Bouillon and Koivu. Markov (nothing negative on the hockey front but you are right now our best player....we need some emotion ...a 3 smile (earnest or not ) minimum required per period from you from here on in. Begin....another heart and soul guy who I admire but if given the choice I take Kosto....there really isn't room for both of them and Kosto,Dandy and BGL. MAX PAC and DAGS ...please forget everything you have seen in the last month....this is not what being on an NHL "TEAM" is supposed to be...continue playing as you were taught...change is coming....it damn well better be!

Wall of texts hurt, try some paragraphs please.. this wall hurts the eyes even trying to read it.

This is a sick team and desire has been taken out of them.Too bad as a lot of talent but I think they are not be led and just put down by the coach. Why he keeps calling out players instead of just shutting up. Changing the players wont help if they are not used right. Some players allowed mistakes other are sat down.

I can't see the coaching staff surviving if this continues.

So the Flames played the trap tonight, which they never EVER do. I guess every team knows the Habs are complete handicaps when they face a team playing the trap. That's because we have ZERO grit nor intensity. The only time I saw us beat the trap was the D'Agostini goal where Higgins outmuscled Pardy to feed it to Matt. We then proceeded to give up and concede another humiliating ass kicking to another struggling team. What are we going to do to fix our problems? Probably nothing. Goodbye, playoffs. Can I get Oleg Petrov's phone number? He knows a thing or two about improving his golf game as a Hab...

How about calling that old hab--Yanic Perreault, Habs were embarrassed in the faceoff circle. Specially that 5-3, that was about 3 consecutive clean wins for the Flames _______________________________________________________________________ "We in a fight to the finish, so I say why not fight till you finished" _______________________________________________________________________
