News is not good on Schneider, Markov

News is Schneider is off to NY on the plane with the team.., CKAC radio journalist who travels with them said he may play tomorrow or thursday even tho injured but no confirmation yet...and that he is not going to NY for surgery or seeing friends..(????)....Markov was seen around the dressing room at Bell last night..and was able to walk OK and even better than Hamrlik...but he's staying home... ---> www.corussports.com they said that there will be NO interviews and practise all day, so that players can rest.....can't wait to hear what happens later...:S

So Pleky gets two for "slew footing" and injuring a player on a non-icing call hockey play battle for position that went wrong and gets called "evil" by Don Cherry. TK accidentally breaks a porcelain defenseman and gets three games and called a dirty player/goon and apparently has to deal with automatic suspensions because he instigated a fight (he probably lost) while sticking up for his teammates last season. But Grabs injures our star defenseman/Norris candidate/leading assist man in the NHL for defensemen/twice actual All-Star and nothing happens. I didn't know Grabs has the special treatment card like Ovechkin does. Also anyone else still thinking trading Markov for Lecav is a "good idea" please just go away...

i though higgins penalty shot could have bveen awarded a goal. i believe if you are taken down from behind with an open net a goal is rewarded - since the goalie got the penaly and the trip was just after higgins wenst past him it could have been called this way. not that i'd expect that call . . . anyway - 2nd sends goal not sure why georges was in the corner but then heatly flattened him in front before scoring - shoudl have been an intgerference call on teh sens. sens 3rd goal janik made a bad play (bad pass then got flattened)

Stop jumping ship people...yeah this makes things infinitely harder and increases the odds against us...but the games still need to be played...geez you are already abandoning the team faster than you were during the slump... With these injuries, you change the game plan...no more big slapper and fewer back door plays...get shots on net any way you can and keep the players moving...the forwards are still there and they are working hard and succeeding... Do not give up hope, the team is gonna put their head down and barrel on through to the other side...Gainey knows what he has and what adjustments will need to be made. Losing Markov and Schneider totally sucks. I have been following this team every year since 1968 and they have given me 10 cups to celebrate. But I am afraid we are toast without our two top scoring D men and Lang. Doesn't mean dedicated Habs fans will not support the team but there is alot of talent and experience elsewhere and it will take a 1971 miracle for those of you who remember to pull it off.

How do you think they feel hearing crap like this, the whole team is the reason they are at where they are right now.
