Carey Price is considered to be the Canadiens' goaltender of the future, and he has shown flashes of brilliance this season. But the 20-year-old has also shown that he is a young goaltender who still has some work to do.
That's something the 6-foot-3, 226-pound Vancouver native is keenly aware of, especially after a stint with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs that allowed him to regain some of the form he had lost after a strong start as an NHL rookie.
Drafted by the Canadiens in the first round (fifth overall) at the 2005 NHL entry draft, Price has enjoyed a great deal of success in a short period of time. Heading into last night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, he had a 10-8-3 record with the Canadiens, along with a 2.83 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.
In this week's One-on-One feature, The Gazette's Kevin Mio sits down with Price to discuss his quick rise to the NHL and how he has been able to make the necessary adjustments
quickly.
"The news wasn’t all good for Price on his big night. He may have secured his first career shutout, but his souvenir puck has gone AWOL thanks to public enemy No. 1, Daniel Briere, who decided to flip the game puck into the stands after the final siren sounded. It’s safe to assume that Price wouldn’t mind having the missing puck back should the lucky fan who caught it not have already put it up on Ebay".
That Briere what an AZZ Hole.
I think Huet should start today.Bring Price along slowly too much too soon may hurt him.
you do that with your team
So one back-to-back start is going to ruin him? :)

I would like to thank Kovalev for that great save he made with the 5 on 3.Way to go Kovy.I also thought that the 4th line played good.I was a little worried about our players being beat around, but they showed up last night.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK HABS.
I'd like to thank him for the save, too; however, he was also the reason that the puck was heading for the goal line in the first place.

price
Interesting how at the age of 20 how calm he is,he seems to not get to worked up.I hope they keep playing him to keep up his confidence. He needs to stay in for more than 2 games straight,I know he can do it...PRICE BE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY....
Great interview in the Gazette today Mio! It was much better than staring at Darcy Tucker's ugly mug.
Don't you notice that whenever Dirty F&^%er of the laffs scores a goal, when he celebrates, doesn't he look like a psychopath?
I never liked Tucker. He's a dirty player for sure.
Very interesting interview and keep up the good work, Kevin.
