Xtra - I'm not here to defend Dave Stubbs or the Gazette or to get into a tug of war over some of the tasteless and mindless drivel that was posted on this site yesterday. However, I would like to point out that along with the freedoms and rights that are guaranteed in our Charter there is also an implicit understanding that the citizenry will also accept the notion to act responsibly within those Charter terms and govern themselves accordingly. Simply put, it's a two way street. The Original 24 Cups

Who said anything about banning anyone? If there was a law in this land against people yelling for the sake of hearing their own voice, our streets would be empty. I remind everyone to read The Rules, a simple paragraph, down the right-hand side of this page. We ban visitors for violation of the reasonable rules set out there. If you don't like what someone is saying, ignore it. Completely. But at the end of the day? This is a Gazette site. It's our right, even our obligation, to delete posts and ban visitors when that is deemed necessary. Dave Stubbs

A near perfect season (for me) up to this point: The Habs are first in the east, and have made the playoffs and will probably win the division. The laffs are six points out, and are not going to make the playoffs. The Habs are young and exciting to watch, they score beautiful goals. The playoffs are right around the corner!

where did edmonton come from? geez i know they won 12 of their last 15 but still i'm surprised they are only 3 pts out. do not think they will make it but wow what a run.

but dana i'm from the states!!! but i do like more canadian teams to make it. i was hopeful buffalo would make it too but i do not want to play them.

I'm sick of seeing Edmonton and Colorado squeak in at the end of season. Chicago is 3 points out; I'd love them to squeak in and - by some miracle - beat the Wings.

soooooo sweet to see that 'x' next to our team! I've been waiting weeks for that, and I didn't think it would be at the top of the heap when it came. Great time to be a (lifelong) Habs fan!
