Stewart and D'Agostini called up from Hamilton, probably to rest some of the stalwarts.
to totally irrelevant but watch this video. Its not the regular leaf bashing video. Its really funny at the end. http://youtube.com/watch?v=0F5ZFAJ_Jfk&feature=related
Proper tribute to a great kid. I'll take his coolness over bobbing heads anyday. Excellent work Canadiens.

Fantastic picture of Price in the Frozen Moment. He looks so calm, and so focused. I remember Roy used to be always blinking, shaking his head, talking to his goal posts, etc. They are so different, but they both get the job done better than most.
Price was # 1 Star last night.

"Priceless"
Well done Carey! May all the commentators who call you "Corey Perry" be the recipients of an atomic wedgie, knee to the groin, etc.
Go Habs Go!
Well , been a while since I commented ... I know this is a Price link .. but I digress nonetheless ... and will pontificate on Mr Gainey and his top 4 position ...
First, I will have to say, I apparently know very little about hockey ... like most folks on this site actually, but most wont actually confess to it ...
OK .. why do I say this ... because , at the beginning of the year, after we lost Souray, I was convinced we would end up in the bottom third of the conference ... and I was convinced we would be near the bottom of the bottom third of the conference ... yea .. like 13 or 14th , well, I was clearly incorrect ... also, I confidently predicted last summer that there was NO WAY IN HELL that I could see any scenario that Huet would be moved. I was convinced that Mr. Gainey would, at the minimum, hold onto Huet as a veteran backup for Price in the playoffs ... wrong again ... finally ... the post lockout draft was 2004 I guess .. and we had Jose in nets ... and we picked Price ... I was thinking WHAT ???? Are they insane ... get me a center ... G. Brule or a little Toughness on Dee (M. Stall or L. Bourdon ) ... what are they thinking ? Well ... i blew that one too ... as we all know, the 3 I mentioned arent doing that well ... yet ... but Price ... I think we can all agree is doing pretty good
Having said that, I was a Souray fan, and was more worried about his fragility as opposed to his defense ... and I was never a big Huet fan ( although he has looked awesome for the Caps ... bu we'll see when the big games come .. )
and that still turn out to have been a mistake ...but .. time will tell ...
Anyways, the fact that the Habs, whom I love btw, and who I have had season tickets for since 2000 when they SUCKED and the place was empty , as I was saying , and the fact that the habs have won their division and have 100points is just amazing ... and Mr Gainey deserves all the praise for putting the right personnel in place to make the tuff decisions as to who to draft ( T. Timmins ... brilliant ) , who will coach ( hmmm .. Guy was brought in by ... ??? ) and Mr Gainey sat with AK27 and remined him he was a hockey player and not a russian dancer ... and motivated him to perform at a level that matches his talent ... well .. if all that isnt enough to earn praise then I guess you cant please everyone.
Mr Gainey ... job well done no matter what happens April 9th and beyond.
Lets also not forget that Gainey was head coach for a season with Guy underhim. I am sure Guy learned alot forom Gainey during that time. All this while Gainey's daughter died in a real tragedy at sea. He truely is amazing! Glad he is our GM.
P.S. I still don't agree with the Huet trade. Sorry Gainey. :)
Nicely put Mr.Stone.
Congrats to cool as ice Price!
Just a precurser to the Calder Trophie... good job!
...& the accolades for the Pricer continue. Good job kid!!!
