Canadiens seem to be an afterthought in his comments, which are mostly about Toronto and Vancouver.

But Sundin does say if it were about money only, he'd have signed with the Canucks by now.

Listen I think the Habs have Sundin in the bag, no sense going to Vancouver,he's got enough ca$h, who needs that horendous travel sked, Vancouver to anywhere is like minimum three/four hours away, TO, what's the point? ain't gonna win a cup there! That leavs the Habs, 100th anniversary, 25th Stanley Cup, next step HOF. The announcement will coincide with the start of Hockey fever in Montreal. It all makes sense to me, the final coup-de-grace from Gaineys 5 year plan.

Sundin in Montreal would be a friggin media circus. He doesn't want that attention with the new wife and all. He wants to keep life easy.

That being said, I don't think he's ready to retire, and he has been training. Smart dog is onto something. I think he's headed to Vancouver.

the habs aren't coming out to San hoser town this season. Might have to make my own habs summit. I'm thinking Friday feb 13th in Colorado. Only fitting cuz I hate the no-dicks.
