Mathieu Carle – sign him up!

Oh wait... they already have. Defenceman Mathieu Carle, a Hamilton Bulldog last season, does the first damage at the rookie camp by breaking a panel of glass behind the net the Canadiens defend for two periods. With a wrist shot, for heaven's sake. It's ready to explode with the next shot, cobwebbed for now.

It was a thing of beauty to watch him in the high right slot on the PP last year. Here's hoping Robert Lang will set him up for ten or fifteen more of those this year.

Dave, the anticipation is building! Thanks for the Boone-esque updates! Will they all be fast and furious? I'd love to see any photos your talented team may have. We could all use some action shots as opposed to Gainey and Carbo gracing your photos page.
