Forward Alex Tanguay and defenceman Josh Gorges are both question marks for tomorrow night's game against the Washington Capitals.
Tanguay left Wednesday night's game in Detroit after being checked by Brad Stuart early in the first period. He suffered a neck injury and was undergoing therapy today.
Gorges also skipped practice to get treatment for a knee injury. He took a Nicklas Lidstrom shot off the knee and had an x-ray after the game.
Alex Kovalev also skipped practice for what the team described as a therapy day.
The last player to take a therapy day was Guillaume Latendresse and he's missed the past three games with a shoulder injury. He practiced today and is expected to play tomorrow.

From the Canadiens dressing room this afternoon after a spirited midday practice, the final practice (thankfully) before the team gets down to business Friday in Columbus and Saturday in Toronto:
• Christopher Higgins on playing with Saku Koivu and Alex Tanguay, etc.;
• Mike Komisarek on slow starts after a long break (remember Anaheim?), etc.;
• Josh Gorges on being rassled WWE-style to the ice by Koivu, and on being off the hook for a rookie dinner that can't be held without any rookies;
• Head coach Guy Carbonneau's daily briefing in English and French.

Canadiens head coach Guy Carbonneau is making underachieving forward Michael Ryder and defencemen Patrice Brisebois and Josh Gorges healthy scratches for tonight's game in Boston against the Bruins.
The Bruins will start 20-year-old goalie Tuukka Rask against Canadiens' Carey Price, also 20; Rask fills in for No. 1 Tim Thomas, who was hurt in the final minute of last night's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils in New Jersey and will be lost to the Bruins for a week, or longer, with the groin injury.
Rask will be backed up by Alex Auld, who was acquired today from the Phoenix Coyotes for forward Nate DiCasmirro and a 2009 fifth-round draft choice.
