So, your Canadiens are Northeast Division champions, guaranteed to finish no deeper than second in the Eastern Conference. PuckCasters Dave Stubbs, Mike Boone and Kevin Mio have clipped on the microphones this week to discuss that and much more. Pat Hickey has earned the week off, celebrating his odometer turning back to zeroes after the Habs' Buffalo-Toronto-Ottawa road trip. Our topics:

• Was Tuesday's game against Ottawa really a perfect game, as some – including Alex Kovalev – have suggested?
• While the Habs have weathered injuries through the short term, will there be any long-term impact?
• What does everyone think about the possibility of a Montreal-Pittsburgh series somewhere down the road?
• Can Carbo now afford to rest a few regulars, with two games left before the playoffs?
• Twenty-two wins and three shutouts: does Carey Price merit consideration for the Calder Trophy as the NHL's MVP?
• And can the Senators actually miss the playoffs?

Boone only makes sure bets. Of course Cherry would still be talking about his beloved leafs, even if Montreal were in the finals. You won't get anybody to bet against you on that one Mike.

Dave Stubbs said that Montreal has to lay a beating on toronto Saturday night. Yes, Dave you are absolutely right. The bigger the beating, the better. I never want to lose to those guys ever again.

Great Puckcast..I love how you guys acknowledged the horrible Senators broadcasting. I have written Sportsnet on numerous occasions about Dean Brown's biased broadcasting. I think his arrogance makes me hate the Senators more than any other reason.

Great podcast and I don't know if you guys did anything to the audio but it sounds better than before...

I for one know many people, both French and English and they all say the same.. The voice of the Canadiens right now is Pierre Houde with his "C'est le buuuuuuutttttt!!!!!"

Although the overall cast of RDS is 10000000% better than TSN or Sportsnet... Nick Kypryos has to retire now... He sucks... TSN has Pierre McGuire and Bob McKenzie which isn't enough to help this poor sports cast... They managed to get one of the worst GM's in History in Mike Milbury... and at the deadline they got Furgy... Come on.. Who is hiring these turkeys...

RDS has a good balance of people... Alain Crete and Jacques Demers are cool... Even Benoit brunet. Chantal Machabee is pretty good also... I like their other analysts also... Le Baron and Gaston Therrien...

One show that no one ever talks about is Sports360 with Ron Reuch.... It is a great show and feels like a podcast... Nice half hour...

Who is it that you can hear swallow? I've noticed this on puck casts. Boonesy is that you?

Great puckcast as usual.

Interesting none of you mentioned Andrei Markov as a possible Norris Trophy nominee.

I'm sure I may get some grief over my next comment but Chris Neil reminds me alot of Chris Nilan. Decent player, willing to mix it up and plays hard. I actually wish the Habs had him.

Yes he is a good player and defensemam but his plus and minus is relatively poor.. -1... Compared to other defenses around the league... Like lidstrom I believe is having a great stats year and his plus and minus is through the roof... may be next year...

Axeman, I live behind enemy lines as well. The only media worth reading in Toronto is Damien Cox's daily rips of the Leafs in the Toronto Star. It would be great to see Montreal as the only team representing the East. I am one of the fans that Mike Boone was talking about, when given a choice between the French broadcast and an English one on TSN or CBC I always watch the French one. I just can't listen to Glenn Healy or Don Cherry anymore.

I dislike both Healy and Cherry, but I'd actually pick cherry over healy if I had to choose. I hope Healy gets the Leafs GM position.

My ultimate dream: Captain Saku Koivu skating around the Bell Centre holding the Stanley Cup.

I would agree there. Cherry still offers some entertainment value. Healy is just annoying without being entertaining.

Healy is just stupid.. He changes mind every 3 seconds.. Refuses to speak about the canadiens... He can not acknowledge we are a good team right now...

Cherry at least speaks about the the Canadiens once every six months... But out of 100 comments by these two men... Healy makes no good sense on any of them... Cherry will sometimes pull one of his suits and make sense... May be 5 out of 100...

Great Puckcast ... as usual. As a Habs fan living behind enemy lines (sigh ... yeah, Toronto) I LOVED the last 5 or so minutes. I work about a dozen blocks from the CBC building, and the only one I haven't seen on the ledge yet (unfortunately) is Don Cherry. Here's to drinking from the 25th CUP!!!!
