Looking to self-educate on hockey systems, I found this:

Any other recommended reading?

With regards to all the comments regarding the goaltending situation.

The ones creating the problem are the armchair GM's.. Price is a big boy.  If playing backup for a string of games is going to "damage his psyche" ... trade him now.  We don't need to coddle any overgrown babies!

Having said that, I don't believe there is anything wrong between Price's ears.  He's young, yes, but still a professional.  He knows what his job is, and if JM is implimenting a "win and you're in" system, he'll eventually have his chance.  Nothing better than healthy competition!

GO HABS GO!!!

Nice broadcast Boys! Dave, especially liked your comment about winning the games they have to win (last year's Habs dropped a lot of games to teams like Florida or the Isles).

And a question from Retro Mikey!

That's a great story. You would think that the Coyotes would have went for it, they need all the fans they can get!, although they really couldn't afford that price tag!

last time the leafs won the cup it was still just a bowl!!

That is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! Nice find lol

Meh...he's not the first or last guy that will get injured this year.  This one appears unrelated to the chronic troubles that he has suffered with his groin and hip, so that's encouraging if you are a Rangers fan.

Mario Lemieux, Eric Lindros, Peter Forsberg and Saku Koivu are other guys that had their careers frequently side-tracked by injuries.  It doesn't make them soft or indicate any lack of heart.  Sometimes, your genetics and plain old bad luck just work against you.

EDIT:  Sorry, this should have been in reply to Malreg's post below.

Gaborik is injured, surprise surprise.  At least this time he made it to game #12!
