Goaltender Carey Price is the winner of the Canadiens' Molson Cup award, based on three-star selections, for the month of October.

Canadiens captain Saku Koivu accepted the NHL's King Clancy Memorial Trophy before tonight's game in recognition of his leadership qualities on and off the ice, and the humanitarian work he does in his community.

Defenceman Francis Bouillon was honoured tonight before the Canadiens-Pittsburgh Penguins game with the Jean Béliveau Trophy, an award recognizing his community involvement.

The trophy's Hall of Fame, legendary namesake made the presentation.

The selection committee consisting of members of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation board of directors evaluated the candidates according to the effort, enthusiasm, implication and time invested in both collective and personal initiatives.

They were also evaluated on their commitment, leadership and financial assistance to the causes close to their heart.
