Not your standard economy seat. From Dallas Stars website
Canadiens majority owner George Gillett Jr. co-owns the Liverpool soccer club with Tom Hicks, who owns the Dallas Stars and baseball's Texas Rangers. So in a case of "my toybox is bigger than yours," Hicks has unveiled the new private 757 aircraft in which his Stars – former Canadien Mike Ribeiro included – will travel in dramatic style.
The Canadiens hardly slum it; they travel by charter, too, though not in their own plane. Check out the Stars' new jet here, and don't miss the photo gallery. It's stunning.
OK, George, the puck is in your end of the ice...

Habs fans, to your video cameras. The Canadiens are looking for an in-game host to entertain the crowd during commercial breaks. One of the requirements is to be a passionate Habs fan, and there are plenty of those here.
Here's a link to the website with the job posting and all the details. Action!

And Viggo Mortensen again, as photographed in the pages of Monday's National Post, mugging for the cameras at the Toronto International Film Festival. Hate it when this happens in Toronto...

So here is actor and Lord of the Rink Viggo Mortensen, second from right, at a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival, with director David Cronenberg on the far right and actors Vincent Cassel and Oscar-nominee Naomi Watts to the left, promoting their new London-based thriller Eastern Promises.
And what is Mortensen wearing? Hmm. Looks strangely to us to be a Montreal Canadiens T-shirt beneath his suit jacket. Which either demonstrates the fine fashion sense of Mortensen, or, in Toronto, is sweet revenge for the Maple Leafs having knocked the Canadiens out of the NHL playoffs on the final game of the 2006-07 regular season (one day before they themselves were eliminated from the post-season.)

Baseball Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda was exposed to some great hockey while pitching for the International League's Montreal Royals in the 1950s, the farm club of the Brooklyn Dodgers and springboard to the major leagues of pioneer Jackie Robinson.

Because you asked: Courtesy of the Canadiens' 2006-07 media guide, here is the team's official list of sweater numbers through the years. These seven pages from the guide provide a list as near to 100 per cent accurate as you'll find. Records are sketchy in the earliest years of the club.
