Brady Strachan in Vancouver
About:
Born in small town Manitoba
My Dad built me a hockey rink in our back yard when I was 4 and I learned to skate
Played hockey all my childhood and idolized the Winnipeg Jets (from Bobby Hull to Morris Lukowich to Temmu Selanne) even though they were continually humiliated by the Oilers and Flames.
When it was apparent that the Jets days were numbered, I started looking around for another Cdn team to support and was drawn to the Habs.
Habs won the cup in 93, and I was hooked.... I went out and got a Canadiens tattoo a week after.
Followed the Red and White through thick and thin
And now I have just moved back to Canada after 10 years away and can finally watch Habs games regularly as they are Gainey and Carbo have them taking it to the next level.
